 The enchanted necklace

Perlina is a little girl who loves mermaids. She grew up by believing that they were real. She had many dolls and pictures of mermaids. She even wrote a story about them. But she had never seen an actual mermaid. So, everyday she went to the seashore to find them. She wasn't the only one who liked the sea, her mom liked it too. Whenever pearlina went to school, her mom Alina goes to the sea for a swim. Since perlina doesn't have a father because he drowned in the sea , her mom should do all the work. Alina is only free when perlina goes to school. 


For perlina's 11th birthday,  her mom gave her a special necklace. It was so beautiful, so perlina wore it immediately. She invited many of her friends and they had a great party. The next day perlina decided to go for a swim. As soon as she stepped in the water, the necklace started to glow. Perlina's legs were hurting so bad. And the next thing she knew was that she had fallen into the deep! When she opened her eyes, she saw many fish. She was underwater! She freaked out at first but then she stopped when she saw her tail. She was a mermaid!



Perlina was so excited. She swam everywhere with her new tail and ended up in a huge city.



It was the mermaid city! There were alot of memaids swimming everywhere. And they welcomed perlina as a princess! She was so confused. She was taken into the palace by a mermaid boy. And to her surprise, the queen was her mother and the king was her drowned father! Her father explained that he didn't drown but became a mermaid and ruled the city. Her mom explained that she gave the necklace so perlina could join them. Her mother put her into a new sea school and taught her how to swim properly. From that day forward Perlina lived in the deep with her new mermaid and fish friends, continuing her duties as princess.
