  The enchanted necklace Perlina is a little girl who loves mermaids. She grew up by believing that they were real. She had many dolls and pictures of mermaids. She even wrote a story about them. But she had never seen an actual mermaid. So, everyday she went to the seashore to find them. She wasn't the only one who liked the sea, her mom liked it too. Whenever pearlina went to school, her mom Alina goes to the sea for a swim. Since perlina doesn't have a father because he drowned in the sea , her mom should do all the work. Alina is only free when perlina goes to school.  For perlina's 11th birthday,  her mom gave her a special necklace. It was so beautiful, so perlina wore it immediately. She invited many of her friends and they had a great party. The next day perlina decided to go for a swim. As soon as she stepped in the water, the necklace started to glow.
