The guardians of nature

One weekend I went a trip to a rain forest with my family and friends. We were enjoying the nature while my father was busy with taking photos. We were in the deep forest. We saw some giant millipedes  and everyone ran to see them. Meanwhile I saw a gigantic flower with a long stem.

I went to see it. Then I tried to smell it. But instantly I felt that the flower is grabbing me. It sucked me inside in a blink of an eye. I woke up  in a dark place. I couldn't see anything.

I had no flashlight or any light source to lite up. I wasn't in the plant, but a dark room. There was no door or any exit to get out, well, I didn't feel anything. When I was touching the wall the only thing that I could feel was a stick.
I searched to find nothing else near it. It was a bit odd but I tried to take the stick so that I could try to break it, rub it and make a fire. I couldn't  push it so I tried pulling it. Then suddenly the stick moved and a sound came from the ground. It sounded like a door opened. I tried feeling to find what was it but ended up falling. Firstly I worried, but then I became bored when I kept falling for ages. Then I realized that the stick must have been a lever and it opened a trap door when I flicked it.
However I didn't stop falling. First I slid down a slide made of stone, then I went into a pool with a  secret entrance and I almost died in a pool of lava. Even though it seems scary it was pretty boring to me.
I finally stopped falling when I fell into a bed in another slightly dark room. I could see a little bit in this room. It was like a normal house. There was no lever to my relief. But it had about 10 doors and each had a symbol on it. A plant, A leaf, then plant again, a leaf again, A tree, A yellow flower and another yellow flower.

I knew that it was a test so I had to choose the right door. Who knows what could be behind them? I carefully thought about the symbols and I got the answer. The plant has leaves and flowers, the plant doesn't have a tree as its part even though it grows into one. So it has to be the tree. And also every symbol has a double except the tree, so I was really sure. When I opened it, I somehow ended up in a tree hollow.

There was a squirrel, an owl and a macaw.

They were all the same height and they could talk! They said that they were the guardians of the nature. I couldn't believe it. They said that I'm always caring and looking after animals and plants, so they need me to be one of them. I gladly said yes and joined the ship. Just then I got a badge with a peacock symbol in it.

They said that if I pressed it I would have the power to become a peacock. I asked them 'would that make me a male?' and to my surprise they said 'yes', but I didn't specially care about that. So I pressed it and became a peacock. It was incredible.

I took an oath to protect nature and the animals took me to my friends and family. I turned back into a girl and kept protecting the nature as if it was my family.

THE END
