An empty vessel makes much noise (Proverb)

An empty vessel makes much noise

There were two friends called Peter and Sam. They were studying in the same school, in the same class and in the same grade. When they were studying in the class, peter always tried to keep quite and listen to the teacher. But Sam was always talking about his talents. And he was pretending like he knows everything. When the other students are trying to help him, he refused. When the teacher was teaching he was not listening because he was busy with talking and he never took advises from anyone. So he had less knowledge and less talents. Also he got less marks for the exams. But Peter didn't waste his time like Sam and he was busy with his studies. So he had a good knowledge and he got higher marks for the exams.

One day their Teacher Mrs. Olivia called Sam and asked him to do an activity. She told to take a tin and to put one stone in it. Then she asked to shake it. There was a loud noise of it. Then she told to fill the tin with stones and to shake it. There was only a very less sound.

Then the teacher told him that, the people who have less knowledge speak louder like the tin with one stone. But the people who have much knowledge keep calm and quiet like the tin which was full of stones.

Finally Sam understood the moral of teacher's lesson and he began to follow it.
